Im tired of getting MULTIPLE half-hearted apology notes within the span of one year. It’s frustrating and honestly disrespectful to everyone else on this campus that these issues are being ignored.

Every year since I've been a freshman there has been an incident with the Poobahs and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! This is not what Augustana and Greek Life promotes itself to be and its time to make a change in order to achieve what we promote once again.

Having something occur every year I've been here is ridiculous. They literally stopped showing the slideshow for one year (last year) and they still showed it this year. It's a conflict of interest that Ken Brill is their advisor.

I called my mommy last night but in my car so nobody could see me crying. I’m scared we’re gonna get disbanded. We only raped someone, showed nude images, and some other stuff - why are people so mad at us ;(

I graduated in 2018 and I was disgusted that they weren’t disbanded after the rape that occurred in one of their houses.

I am a graduate of the class of 2016 and this fraternity has been exposing their unsavory ways consistently since long before I ever set foot on campus. Fraternities should be held to account for the tasteless and offensive nonsense they get up to.

The poobahs may have individual “nice guys,” but that does not excuse their group mentality. By letting them get away with just releasing a statement the school is enabling future negative situations. The poobahs have had chance after chance, and to not even be put on probation is absolutely ridiculous. Greek life at Augustana is beautiful and unique, but by allowing this behavior it is destroying what Greek life actually stands for.
