Remove Mr. Goldlist from Kindergarten

I am a former student of his. I recall feeling upset, exasperated or bored in his lessons. He never taught me anything, accommodated to my IEP or let me feel safe. I often felt slightly scared because of certain comments he made, not apropreate comments. and oh yeah, I was in 6th grade.

Mr. Goldlist’s behaviour and actions do not qualify him to teach JK/SK- please remove him from the school - please remove him before a child gets seriously hurt.

I am shocked to read these comments. If he's been reprimanded once for this, he should be removed. No place for him in any school classroom.

It is extremely concerning that given this teacher's known history of problems he would be placed back into a classroom. When (not if) another incident occurs, it is shocking that the board, trustees and principal would expose themselves to lawsuits and further criticism. This is both negligence and incompetence.

I walked into Mr. Goldlist's library class when he was telling the children to imagine that they were in the process of being kidnapped and were in the trunk of a car. Another time through my children I heard of another one of his inappropriate stories involving firemen who would have to pull down their pants and pee on fire and monsters to make them go away. My child brought home a disturbing Stephen King novel from his library class which he helped sign out. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. He is completely unfit, and the board of education is waiting to react to a horrible atrocity instead of doing the right thing. If they're unwilling to fire him, they need to move him to an admin position out of a school, and far from children.

In the 2018/19 school year Mr. Goldlist has TWICE been removed from the school for his physical behaviour with very young children. When he finally hurts a child will the Board and the Union plead ignorance or stupidity?

I completely agree with what is said in this petition. Mr. Goldlist should not be teaching our youngest students. He has had incidents of physical altercation with young students. These students are unable to protect themselves. We need responsible adults to protect them. This is NOT Mr. Goldlist.

Mr Goldlist needs to Be removed from Ledbury Park Elementary school for his inappropriate behaviour and physical contact with children

How many times does a teacher need to be removed from classrooms before we start to take the issue seriously? Being put on leave once should raise numerous flags, twice in one year proves that Mr. Goldlist simply can't be trusted around children of any age never mind 3, 4 and 5 year olds. School is supposed to be one of the safest places a child can be but this can happen when an adult in an authoritative position consistently abuses thier role and constantly has to be reprimanded. No child should have to feel unsafe around a teacher...ever.

Our children need teachers who are thoughtful, consistent and patient with them. Our teachers need to exemplify the behaviours we want our children to model. This teacher cannot do any of these things. The amount of complaints from students, staff and parents is staggering, especially given the size of the school. Mr. Goldlist should not be teaching a kindergarten class.

I would not want Mr. Goldlist as my daughters SK teacher. The thought of this is very concerning. I hope he is not placed as a kindergarten teacher at Ledbury and this petition is taken very seriously.

Do not feel safe with him in the school

I would like to petition to have Goldlist removed teaching all grades at Ledbury.
