I agree with the Elvis family, that judge should never have allowed them to move out of state, my husband and I couldn't believe it!

Smacks of indifference while the blood of this precious child of God cries out from the earth for justice and our hearts. There should be no shadow between justice and unbiased judgement - impossible with Markely not recusing himself from the bench in this case.

This is the first time in history I've ever heard of a person awaiting trial be allowed to go to "work" two states away, to a state where they're no doubt going to have an easier time being at flight risk. Something is very wrong here. Now I see that the victim's family is being made to travel that far to get justice. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't normally ever sign petitions, but something is very wrong here and it's about time we ask these questions and stand up to it.

I have no connection with the Elvis family except as a mother of 3 children, I pray to God I never have to go through what this family has endured. I believe the Judge should be replaced in this case, he is too close to it to be fair.

I was a stationed at lejeune when Heather went missing my wife and I had went to spend Christmas in myrtle and ended up seeing a post from Hearhers sister about her missing for some reason it stuck with my wife hard she would attend vigils when I was deployed and still to this day we moved back to Texas she follows the case praying for answers.
