Remove Leena van Deventer from Victorian Women's Trust

Disgraceful. No woman should have to suffer just to coddle a man's feelings, no matter that he calls himself.

Her lack of compassion shows she’s not fit for this role.

How can someone so lacking in empathy, good judgement and common sense remain in this position?

Trauma responses do not adhere to gender identity politics. Women who are sexually assaulted by men need compassion and privacy, not social media declarations endorsing further abuse. Remove Ms. van Deventer from her position now!

This person has no moral right to be in a leading position in an organization focused on women. She can put vulnerable women at risk.

Shocking comment to make. She should be nowhere near victims of such violence.

Anyone who believes that a rape victim should be thrown Dow a well and spat at is not a fit person to be on any board, let alone a women’s trust board.

It's a shame that we even need to tell you that this is unacceptable. How far we have fallen.
