Remove Leena van Deventer from Victorian Women's Trust

This woman is a disgrace to humanity and is bringing the Trust into disrepute. Keeping her on isn’t a neutral act - it sends a message that the Trust endorses abuse and the incitement of attacks on women.

This person should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

I don't get why someone so intolerant of women who have suffered at the hands of men, thinks it is ok to abuse them because they want female only spaces, no XYs included. Remove her from the roleshe clearly has failed to understand

Any person who advocates denigrating and or violating a rape victim is a psychopath. A person who gleefully wishes the death of a rape victim is sadistic beyond measure. For this to occur to a woman rape victim is nothing short of women-hating violence. As a board member of a rape crisis service - this is unimaginable. Sack her because she is pushing a violent, dangerous ideology. I think other board members should be immediately be calling for the removal too.

This individual does not respect women

It is hard to believe that any woman would incite violence against a woman who has suffered so much abuse already. That she should be on the Board of a charity whose vision is "a world where women, girls, and gender diverse people take up all of life’s opportunities with respect, safety and dignity" beggars belief. Equally shocking that the Victorian Women's Trust has not already sacked her and apologised to the woman Deventer abused and threatened. I have looked up some the articles Deventer has written about misogyny. To then behave like this, she is not only a 5 star hypocrite ,she seems positively psychopathic.

Disgusting that this woman in her position should make such a comment about a rape victim.

This is absolutely intolerable behaviour from anyone, on any issue.

Ashamed I once was a friend of Leena's. She has fallen foul to this totalitarian men's rights movement and I expected far better of her as she is actually quite intelligent. Shame on her, single-handedly bringing this aptly named trust to the Victorian era where women, not just carelessly but purposefully, abused women who'd gone through horrendous trauma and abuse from men. Leena, can you tell us what differentiates a man from a transwoman?

Same-sex spaces is a basic human right, for both sexes.

Leena van Deventer's lack of humanity and empathy for a survivor of sexual violence is sickening, and I hope she is permanently removed from working with women ever again.
