Remove Leena van Deventer from Victorian Women's Trust

This is the first time that I have supported removing a woman from her post. I don't do so lightly, but this individual's comments are so violently misogynist that she should not be in a position of influence in a woman's group.

A woman is an adult human female

A grown ass woman in a position of power SHAMING and INCITING HATE towards a survivor of child sexual abuse and rape... How absolutely sick and vile.

This woman is absolutely vile. To put men above your own while sitting in this position of power just goes to show that female solidarity means nothing to gender ID- obsessed women. Shame on her.

People who are disrespectful to abuse survivors have no place in the care of abuse survivors.

The lack of empathy for women’s trauma is shocking!

Why would a woman abuse a survivor for her trauma response? How is it possible that she is in a position of power in a womens organisation but has no sympathy or understanding for women who are victims of male violence??

Women can not trust someone who speaks so violently and disrespectfully about trauma victims

I am utterly disgusted that a board member of a woman’s trust would talk about a rape victim in such a manner. This victim has every right to ask for single sex care.

shouldnt be in the job

No woman who so clearly hates women should be anywhere near a woman’s board.

If this woman represents your organisation then you will need to review whether your organisation stands for hate

Inciting acts of violence against a rape victim is shameful behaviour.
