My ex-husband lives near Gage park, and I live near Fruitland. A repeat offender should not be moving anywhere there are children! Or keep him in jail so he doesn't get the chance to re-offend and ruin another child's life forever!
You highlight every thing that is wrong with our legal system. There is no justice system in Canada. The rights of a victim are never taken into account. You say that he is under restrictions. You should educate yourself. How effective were those restrictions when he raped a 25 year old woman on September 10, 2007 after she had seizures? Then he gets off easy on a plea deal because the victim was not able to testify due to the trauma of the event? Yeah, that's our "legal' system at work. But this scumbag still has rights. Here's another piece of information you should know - this scumbag has threatened to come after this victim again when he is out of jail. So its not just "past" actions that people are concerned about, it is "current and ongoing" actions. He is not a "possible" danger, he is an "imminent" danger.
But he has his rights. The citizens living in the area also have a right to let their views be known. If you know the area at all, there are many schools, playgrounds, rec centres in the areas. Only one with a warped sense of logic would be unable to see why people are upset. And it is not only the children that we need to be worried about. He seems to pick on the vulnerable. Just some food for thought.

He doesn't belong in any area that gives him the opportunity to re commit any crime the police themselves he is a great risk to do it again why give him a chance. I don't want this man anywhere near not just my children but any children. Protect the innocent not him!
