H.J. Kearny has been teaching at UTA since 2002. None of his students learn anything in his class, they all learn everything by studying out of class materials. He does not have a doctorate, there are no other options for teachers to take this class required for an MAE degree at UTA. Please do not allow him to continue to provide substandard teaching to students.

He states before the exams "if you did the homework provided, you are more than prepared for the exam." Some problems (enough to fail the exam) are nothing like I as a student have seen and I am sure that can go for multiple other students.
He is kind, and he is well intended. However, he lacks the skill to connect the student to the material. That skill is vital for any educator to be successful.
He beat off my friend til the ketchup came out
He once said he does pool dancing with nothing but a tinfoil hat. Can't take that image off my head. He must leave
He's teaching methods are obviously not working judging from a discussion with numerous of his former students.
I completely agree. Out of fear of retribution I will remain anonymous.
This is a valid reson to remove this professor from teaching, he needs to go.

When half the course fails each time, there is a reason. It's not that he doesn't know his stuff, he's smart. He's nice. He just doesn't teach well.
