REMOVE KAREN HAYES FROM TVUSD

Actually, Karen's claims are the ones that are compltely unsubstantiated. She knows there are no bullys at mms. She is and was the biggest bully there. In addition, the one person whom she claimed was the biggest bully is no longer working in TVUSD. He has been gone for several years now. If Karen wants to releae the district of legal complications and allow them to release the facts to the public she is welcome to do so. The realityis she would never want all of you to know who she truly is. Those of us who were targeted by her know what she is really about and it is vial behavior and she only has herself to blame. When your bosses tell you to stop doing illiegal things and you continue what do you expect?

The board has all the facts and they made the right decision. Karen is toxic.

I really wish Karen would allow the district to release the facts. I know she will never allow that because then all her lies become exposed.

Karen has put men and women out on stress leave. She currently has two female teachers out on stress leave and bullies whomever disagrees with her. This is not about men or the union this is about years of disgusting behavior by Karen Hayes. She is lucky to have been oversees a teachinf job by the district. I hope they take that away too.

Karen did not have to step down until the end of the school year. She walked out on her job on the students she supposedly cares about all becuae she has lost her power. She still has a job next year as a teacher but it is apparent that she would never teach she just wants to be a dictator.

Karen can sign a waiver of she wants and the district can release all the reasons why she was terminated. She won't becuae she knows people would be embarrassed of her if the truth came out.

Every time I write a comment shining a light in the truth about Karen Hayes on the other petition they just delete it. So much for free speech.

As an outside viewer, your claims are unsubstantiated. If you are going to say one side is duped perhaps provide evidence, so as to ensure they are not duped by you. I believe that is another crucial lesson excellent teachers teach their students. In addition, it is the right and responsibility of the people to question the actions of government. Just because a district employee and elected officials say they acted judiciously, does not make it so.

Apparently some disgruntled MMS "exemplary" teachers have been posting some interesting comments on Facebook. According to their posts they enjoyed reading Schmoker but completely disagree with his differentiated approach to teaching which KH completely supported and agreed with. It is sad to see adults acting so irresponsibly on social media. We try and teach the students to stay away from that type thing and then engage in it it...is that really " exemplary?" It sounds like a few privileged teachers have lost their hedge of protection with the change in leadership. It sounds like part of the secretarial staff is also a part of this foolishness. One of them states they told someone to take a hike, in a completely unprofessional and vulgar manner, and it made them feel good. Is this how professionals are supposed to treat each when they disagree on personnel issues/decisions that are made by the TVUSD Administration? Then you have some Corporate Guy who is going to look into this situation after basketball season? Apparently March Madness is more important that Margarita Madness. Have fun in Vegas Corporate Guy because some " exemplary" teachers are stressing out...but I am sure they are comforted knowing that you will look into the situation and save the day. Not sure how but hey...you are "Corporate Guy." No need for Superman or the Dark Knight people because we are in good hands. Another issue people should have is the fact that ASB students were guided by their advisors to create posters during instruction time. Getting students involved in this type of activity should not be condoned or encouraged by staff members. If this is supported by parents then so be it. Are these students and teachers responsible also for the graffiti? The same type of paint used to make posters was also the same type of washable paint that was used on the walls was used on the posters. ASB leadership should use better judgement in the future or maybe they learned this type of leadershi

I guess the petition to "save Hayes" has been shut down after her loyal followers deleted the dissenting comments. It is pretty funny that they wanted to shut out our voice just as Karen did when she WAS principal. The newspaper articles claimed to be "fair and balanced", but never even asked for someone on the other side to comment. They only asked a few parents and students whom have been misinformed and have no clue for their point of view but not any of ours.....wow. This is how they do things in communist countries. Time for # “save Hayes to become Phase Hayes……..Away.

Karen has been terminated from her administrative position as a principal but has been offered a teaching position at 97,000 top pay with benefits and pension. What better way to affect the lives of kids then to actually teach them in a classroom. Karen has been terminated as a principal for many reasons, the ones that we know about are misappropriating funds for many years, having more teacher and staff turnover then any of the other 30 schools in the district, treating people she does not agree with unprofessionally, being the BIGGEST BULLY in TVUSD, and being the reason for litigation against the district several times and losing. There are plenty more things that we may never know about unless Karen actually allows the truth to come out. She knows the truth and knows that the district is not legally allowed to release it. In the meantime having students and adults graffiti the school, wearing t shirts against bullying, when she was the biggest bully of all time, and harassing and threating teachers on campus who are happy to see her go is ridiculous and embarrassing. Parents, if you just think about this logically, the district never terminates principals for someone claiming to be protecting a teacher, they terminate rarely and cautiously based on an accumulation of years of offenses. You will all owe our superintendent, school board, and current teachers whom are being harassed and threated an apology when all the truth and facts that can legally come out about Karen, do end up coming out.

As someone who worked at Margarita for several years and had kids go to school there, I have never seen a more evil person then Karen Hayes especially towards many of her teachers! She had her favorites and everyone else walked around on pins and needles waiting for her to strike. Margarita is a wonderful school and luckily for the kids her terror seemed only directed at certain teachers. I personally witnessed out and out lies made up towards certain teachers and was a victim of her lies also. The last time I was there and visited with some very fine teachers, it was sad to see how depressed and beaten down many of them were. It was not that way because of the kids, but was that way because of her!! Remember, the district tried to move her a few years ago and the whole school refused to work for her!!! That tells you a lot!! For you lost souls that support her, just know that Margarita will be a better place without her!!!!

This woman is a monster. She will step on anybody to get her way. She has restraining orders against her from teachers because that is how crazy that woman is. I am so glad her reign of terror is over.

okay this madness needs to stop. karen hayes has made mms the best middle school in temecula. for starters, before she worked here, margarita was a run down rude school with the cops often here involved in the school. after karen came to margarita she has most definitely changed this school for the better. i hope it is understood that to all of my fellow teachers and work personels you wake up and realize that the reason margarita was a great school was because karen hayes made you teach, you know that thing you get payed for doing? she was a strict boss, yes, but that is the reason mms thrives, because she has high expectations, and expects you to work. unless someone would like to explain whats really lying beyond the surface, i see no reason why this outcome has revealed itself,

I guess TVUSD really is standing up to bullies.

I have heard the horror stories for too many years. Administrators like Karen Hayes are the people that destroy morale. It is time for TVUSD to stop being the district known for mistreating its employees.
