I support the school board here. They do not take lightly firing someone and would only do it with just cause especially knowing who they were dealing with.

I am very lucky to have only dealt with Karen as an outsider. I know teacher after teacher that tells me in confidence what a nightmare she truly is.

This whole thing is crazy. Karen obviously did many things wrong and refused to correct them. No one gets fired for one minor email. Wake up public.

I heard she walked out on her job after being asked to teach next and then she had her poor husband come get her belongings from her office. That is insane. She could have kept working and applied elsewhere for other jobs if she is truly as great as she thinks she is someone would live to hire her....right?

Karenis a fake. She presents well with parents but she is a nightmare to work for. It is funny how “her” test scores have continues to slip over the years. I am happy to see the district do the right thing.

First off mr anonymous citizen random name, I'm confused as to why what all of us are saying, that is those of us who have actually worked for Karen Hayes, the school board who has all of the information on her actions, the superintendent who has worked with her for many years, and the rest of us who have had to deal with Karen on a regular basis are all "unsubstantied claims" as you put it, but the Nonsense that Karen has given as the reason for termination is substantiated? How does that work in your world? What Karen says is true, and what elected district officials, superintendent, and many many teachers have stated about Karen's poor behavior is all false. You are foolish. To think that a principal would be terminated for only sending one email is one of the most ridiculous statements ever and up are buyin up the bull crap so what does that make you?

My family supports the school board. Last night a board member stated that Karen lied in her "fear letter". I knew it.

I support the superintendent. The school board shold have done this years ago with all of the complaints and misappropriations of funds. Glad Karen is no longer an administrator.

The school board knows enough and saw enough of the facts including the email or fear letter as she called it and investigated that. After talking to the police they conluded Karen was lying about the majority of what she wrote.

Karen knows all the harn she has caused. I spoke with many teachers whom are still terrified of her and want to speak out but know that retaliation and harassment that will follow if they do. She is horrible I support our school board.
