you have nothing but accusations of what you think Karen didn't handle appropriately... I'm going to point out again that she was NOT fired for the thjbgs you are claiming she has done, and she has no write ups from the district in regards to any of these situations, as a matter of fact she has none in 17 years. As for problems with teachers...I think we all know that they cannot be touched because of the power of the Union, you can move them around and bounce them from school to school, but they're pretty untouchable. Maybe the problem is more along the lines of her not handling things the way that YOU want her to? The current protests that are going on are not to bring karen back, but to get answers from the district and to look at their own violations...which is OUR right! You may want to ask her about her mishandling of School Site Council at MMS for over 10 years. You may want to ask her about the HRD mentor she had a few years back because they were trying to help out with her leadership style or lack there of it. You also state that accusations were made about her by Campos and Filippini and that Mr Ritter resolved them...hmm, are you saying that Mr Ritter was doing his job properly in that case but is now not doing his job because it is not going her way? Another falsehood is that Principals cannot misappropriate funds...this is done all the time. Why would the ACLU be suing school districts left and right, one of which is TVUSD, unless their is some sort of misappropriation of funds or resources. You may want to ask this local Hero when they plan on returning TVUSD property like the IPads and other electronic devises that are in her possession? I forgot, she is still an employee of TVUSD so she probably needs them more than the students at MMS. I know she cannot go near MMS to deliver them but her husband or loyal secretary can come and pick/drop them off correct? You may also want to ask her if any teacher has ever filed a restraining order against her? You may also want to ask about the male supporting teacher who ridiculed a student about their Biblical faith in front of the whole class and how she handled that situation. You may want to ask her about why Temecula PD was brought in years ago to investigate a male teacher for his actions with females students at MMS? Or another female teacher who was using an Instructional Assistant to do a teachers job and how that situation turned out? Or another female teacher who was constantly missing work to spend time at Pechanga and see how she handled that? Did she reprimand this teacher for their unprofessional behavior? Ask her about another female teacher that she has allowed

Tara, again you are wrong. There are 2 letters from the distrct signed and dated March 11,2015 telling Karen to turn in her keys and that she is not to return to TVUSD property until further notified, and that the board would take a vote on her release of contract and reassignment. She has not been offered a reassignment yet. Nice try tho.

Karen has used Tim Ritter's name, Joe Mueller's name, and now several teacher's names. She and her followers have done this on ipetitions, Facebook, twitter, and in the posting that you yourself just posted on her behalf. So either you are delusional or think that you can make rules for some and not others, which is pretty much how Karen ruled as principal. I can not correct everything that is wrong in your previous posting, but let me fix some of it right now. Karen did have a choice to go back finish the year and then come back as a teacher next year. She chose to leave her job and not return. Now after everything that she has done since that day it may very well be true that she is no longer allowed to come back, but initially she did have a choice and decided to do what she did, leave and lie about it. Karen does have the highest of turnover in her 13 years than any principal. We have the numbers on that. No one wants to go work for her so she hires friends, cheerleaders that she used to coach I think she is up to three, people that dated her son, etc. The janitorial job was listed there for months and no one in the district wanted to go there as the lead and they had to go outside to hire people. If you are truly on the side of the whistle blower then you would understand why people who have been truly bullied and harmed by her are hesitant to put their "real" names out there because of people like you who can't think logically and would retaliate against them the way Karen and her supporters are currently doing to anyone who dares say anything against her. First of all Conner, if you weren't already a joke you definitely have become one. Nothing you say at this point has value or substance. Clearly, something is wrong with you. Read your last comment, you are now accusing the district of millions of dollars of fraud, you are smearing the superintendents family, you are repeating the lies that have been spread about "bullies" all unfounded and not true, and you are defending a woman you know nothing about. You don't know how she has hired several cheerleaders that she used to coach back in Vista unified when she was the cheer coach, and how they have a very loyal bond. You don't know that one of these cheerleaders dated Karen's son, and is one of the people making accusations about bullying because of her past relationship with Karen and her boy. You don't know the truth about the dirt that she has on the handful of teachers that are supporting her. How she covered for one of the teachers who was inappropriate with female students and is still working there. How she covered for a teacher who was bullying a student in class about his faith in god and is still working there. How she covered for a teacher that had an aid teaching students in another classroom and that aid sued the district and won $30,000. The list goes on and on. You can blindly defend her all you want, but all this crap that you are spewing that has nothing to do with the truth has rendered you a laughing stock to all those that know who she truly is. Do yourself a favor and find something productive to do with your time. This issue is over she is done and finished in our district and for good reason.

There is a letter right from Her attorney that shows that she was indeed terminated on March 11, and that the board would vote to finalize this decision on March 17. No mention of "reassignment" as you claim. And as you know the board voted 4-1 to terminate her contract.

john, you are coming across as a bitter co worker. I don't doubt that you had some issues with Mrs.Hayes, it's actually very evident the way you are presenting yourself here, that you were probably reprimanded quite a few times at MMS. Anytime you have someone who in control of a workplace, there are going to be critics and haters. To claim she is a bully is childish and silly and that word should not be thrown around so loosely. I can tell you thr there are no write ups or verbal warnings to Karen Hayes by the district for her bullying anyone. Doesnt look good for the district of they didn't actually reprimand her for any of the things you are claiming. There is such a thing called due diligence.

Who is it you want to news article people call in order to provide an unbiased article? The district isn't answering any questions. If you have something that you feel needs to be written about in the papers then you should most certainly give them a call yourself! You are no one, you don't show up at the board meetings to speak your experiences with Mrs.Hayes and to show your support for your superintendent and school board, so why would anybody call you or anyone else who does nothing but Write why they dislike Karen Hayes ? The articles that are written are based on actual events, board meetings, walk outs, actual "testimonies" from the women who actually experienced the bullying that is going on at MMS. It is easy to Hide cute little names online and say true or untrue things, but to actually show up in person and defend what you think is right, and demand actual proof of something is hard. I would also like to add that it has been proven that some of the names being bused to write some of these comments on this petition are those of Karen's Supporters, who have come out and said that they did not write these slanderous comments about Karen on here!

I can see, Mr. Katerelos and Ms. Johnson, that emotions are running high. I stand by my questions. Interestingly, I did not say I was a supporter of Mrs. Hayes so that makes me, Mr. Katerelos, exactly what I said I am "an outside viewer". In fact, I asked specifically for substantiated evidence regarding your claims. Ms. Johnson listed facts (I use the term loosely here), however, she also claims they can not be substantiated by the district due to confidentiality. This begs the question, Ms. Johnson, of where you found these facts? Do you have first hand knowledge and, if so, please bring it to light so we can lay to rest this issue. I find the District (or any government entity) hiding behind the smoke screen of confidentiality problematic especially given the slanderous accusations made against Mrs. Hayes. I think the name calling needs to end and an informative discourse held.

Now smearing tim ritter and his family is what Karen and her supporters feel is the next move. This is ridiculous. I am proud of Mr. Ritter for not stooping to their level. Karen should sign a release and let the truth come out.

Hi Conner Hill, Everything I posted is the truth and based on real facts. Everything you just posted was the balony that Karen has sold to people. It is a fact that she was told that at the end of the year she would no longer be a principal. It is a fact that she abaonded her job, went home, and has not returned. It is a fact that her husband came and got her belongings, and she was NOT there and not ever told to clear out her office. If you think that these are not facts, then please have Karen sign a confidentially agreement and have everything released. She was not demoded because of an email and the nonsense that you stated. Karen was released for many reasons stemming from years of misappropriation of funds, violating california labor laws, violating the district and union agreed contract, having the highest turnover at margaita middle school during her time as principal then all the other schools combined. In addition, being asked to go from $110,000 to $97,000 is a paycut, however an administrotor works many more days a year than a teacher so per day, it is actually not a pay cut. Going from a prinicpal job to a teaching job is not the same as going from a teaching job to a custodial position. The connection you are trying to make silly. Many principals have by choice or not by choice gone bacjk into the classroom to teach. In our district alone, there are currently 7 former administrators who are back in the classroom teaching, that I know personally.
