If Karen was fired for something"bigger" than the emails, why would she be pushing the issue and getting an attorney? If my employer called me in and said I have dozens of complaints about you and you have misused funds, and you are a tyrant by hundreds of accounts, I would accept whatever terms they offered me, or walk away to avoid my dirty laundry being aired and my name being dragged thru the mud. on a side note, why are these male teachers still being allowed to teach in our district? They should be held to the standard as Proncipal Hayes should they not? Yet, they are still in the classrooms with our children, cursing and harassing them about their support for Mrs.Hayes. As for the district and their ability to make good decisions...where is the millions of dollars that have gone missing that were to be used for our special needs students? Who is holding the district accountable for their Un professionalism and lack of leadership?

Where are you getting your information? Karen was called into the district office and told she was being released from her job for inappropriate emails (which had to do with the male teacher harassing a female teacher.) in which the distrct o formed her that she did not handle that situation neutrally, they felt she was biased and that showed her to be unprofessional , and lack of leadership. She then asked for proof of what she did wrong and the district showed her the emails, she then informed them that she would be getting a lawyer because she knew THEY were wrong. She was then told to show up at Margarita middle school at 5pm to clear her office, yes she brought her husband to help her clear her things, as she was distraught and caught off guard by all f this. The following morning, after Karen retained an attorney the district magically changed the terms of her realease...then turning it into non renewal of her contract for the following school year, she would be allowed to come back and teach until June and them would be out of a job. She was never allowed to come back as principal! So the story you are offering is not exactly fact, as a matter of fact it is BS! And...the only reason she did not accept the teaching position is because if she did, that would be agreeing with the district for demoting her. Nobody in their right mind would accept those terms of they believed they were unjustly fired. you people from the "other" side need to get your facts straight, you are spitting out crap that is just not true. If these "bully" male teachers were actual held accountable for their behavior (as all employees and employers should be) and the district told them that their behavior was inappropriate and offered them high salary janitorial jobs, would they take them? HECK NO! And while all this support comes out and shows up for MRS. HAYES, where are 300+ haters? ?? The authenticity of all these votes needs to be checked.

I am happy that some of the truth is finally starting to come out about Karen. She should have finished out the school year instead of quitting in the middle of March and still using tax payer dollars to get paid in the meantime.
