Remove Judge Lisa O. Gorcyca from Office

Reading this case has been very upsetting. There has to be a lasting and sustainable action taken against Judge Gorcya. She clearly did not have the best interest of these 3 children at heart or in her ruling. As a country we need to do more to protect our children and empower them, and she did exactly the opposite while having immense power and jurisdiction at her disposal. There is no excuse, she has to go!

Abusive judges should be removed from their duties, fined and jailed for these abusive tactics.

This is horrid. This judge has no business presiding over family court cases. She should be disbarred.

I have not visited my father for a long time due to our complicated and difficult past, and for the entire year, I have had to evade his many attempts to see or find me. A few days ago, he threatened that he would take my mother to court for not forcing me to see him, and that I had two days to go visit him before he acted. I still would not go to see him, and as expected, the court papers just came in the mail. When we saw that the judge was to be Gorcyca and we found out what she had done, my mother panicked and immediately forced me to visit my father so that he would reverse his decision and I wouldn't be sent to juvenile detention under the jurisdiction of this psychotic woman. My father has yet to reverse his actions however, a if he doesn't, we will be taken to court regardless of me giving in and visiting him.

Anything less than disbarrment is not sufficient. This "judge" is mentally incompetent and needs a court-appointed guardian. I recommend Jon Munger

I don't think this is enough not alone should she be kicked off the bench she should never be able to practice any type of law or any job in child welfare. She should also be sent to a women's prison for twice the allotted time the children had to spend in the facility she sent them too. Without contact from anyone she knows during that period. Maybe then she will truly understand what she did to these precious babies. She may think it's all mom brainwashing but the child stated himself he witnessed his father hitting his mother and that was why he refused to speak with him. Yet she didn't care to listen or take the child's words into consideration. Even after the kids showed they would rather go to jail then spend time with him. I'm sorry but choosing jail over visiting dad tells me there must be more there then simple brainwashing how this judge couldn't or refused to see that means something. If she can't comprehend or control her own emotions she shouldn't be a judge to begin with. My question is did she have family issue. Maybe a parent left and she didn't have the chance to be in one of there life's or had a parent die there is some type of family rooted issue the judge has that made her lose her composer and she went off of her rooted family issues instead of leaving her own personal issues at the door but letting them influence her decision. I'm just speculating here but I am rather curious if she does have rooted family issues that could have influence her. Or if in fact she's just an evil, disgusting women who thinks she above everything. Not caring enough to take the time to really listen to these babies and how they feel.

Send the bitch to jail for life

She should be charged with child indangerment, and child abuse.

In over 40 years as a trial lawyer this is the most egregeous judicial misconduct I have ever seen, as her ruling was abuse of three children. When the older child told her the father was "violent" she did not bother to inquire. Shame on her.

This "person" is unfit for any office. In my opinion she's unfit to continue breathing free air. She should be in prison.

When children are willing to go to juvenile detention center, rather than being with their " father ", it's a big red flag. She found nothing better than threatening, insulting and scaring them, but they still hadn't changed their mind. And that way of doing "justice " is OK in that backward place call Michigan ?

Even if she had a “bad day” which was the excuse she had 17 days to undo her mistake of punishing children for not speaking to their father. I can’t even believe I’m typing such a ridiculous statement but that’s really what happened.

This woman has no right to be in front of children. Ever.

This woman is disgusting and should be thrown in prison instead of deciding other people’s fate. What a power hungry inhuman horrible person. She should never be allowed to practice law or be around children. She deserves the death penalty!!
