It appears that the Jackson Michigan City Attorney is not capable of protecting the rights of citizens in the candidate petition process and must be removed and replaced with a competent attorney not beholding to the current incumbent political faction.
The current city attorney is embroiled in a non-partisan dispute over one of residents of the city and her efforts to seek a ballot slot in the coming election. It appears the city attorney may have played a key role in illegal attempts to disqualify the nominating petitions of this candidate.
