I grew up at 1729 Amelia Avenue in Rolling Hills Highlands. We were among the first families to move into the subdivision, and we attended Taper Avenue Elementary School. I thus have a legacy standing in this issue, and I too want those tanks removed. I do not people killed in any explosion because of them. I do not even want the house that I grew up in destroyed by any resulting conflagration!

The facts speak for themselves. They must be removed.

Those gas storage tanks are a disaster just waiting to happen. This problem has been overlooked way too long. Hopefully, someone with some common sense and guts will do something to safely remove them before it is too late for everyone.

Shame on our politicians and EPA who have sold their souls to the oil and gas industry in exchange for thousands of lives. Move the tank farm and vote against all City Councilmen/women on up who refused to save this community from sure disaster.
