Not all Kenyans are superstitious, and having a superstitious based entity such as "god" in any national symbol ignores this fact.

I quote: "THE WORD 'GOD' Disenfranchises Atheists from this unified ideal"
Now at iTiS we have always endeavoured to help people in the business of THINKING and as far as am concerned there are three types of THINKING:
1- Logical Thinking (reasoning rationally)
2- Critical Thinking (reasoning with self)
3- Strategic Thinking (reasoning way out/problem solving).
Now in case you want to know each extensively ....please come to the fellowship this Saturday and ask....but as for this topic about atheists in Kenya against the word GOD in their national anthem....let me categorise this kind of reasoning under the first type: Logical Thinking and I demonstrate to you the flaws.
1- The argument is against the word not what it represents....in a sense they have no problem with what the word represents (BELIEF SYSTEM)...but the word. Now this means that Atheists are inclusive and coherent with the principle of FREEDOM OF WORSHIP you can believe whatever you want as long as you do not tag it on a national banner on which I (as an atheist) belong. So the national anthem can mean (philosophy) God as long as it has not mentioned God (word).!!! If the word is removed, is FREEDOM OF WORSHIP represented....if it remains is it?
2-The argument is against one extreme to create another extreme. If atheists feel misrepresented by the word God (since they don't believe in a God)...what makes them think the same national Anthem without the word God, will represent other Kenyans with a belief in a God?
Now, these are logical fallacies that can be solved by another type of THINKING known as: STRATEGIC THINKING.

Though I am not an atheist, I believe that there has been an unholy marriage between religion and state affairs. This may be the first step to do away with this interferance. I wish for separation of church and state.

This is basically a cheap publicity stunt. There are far more atheists in the USA than there are in Kenya, but the dollar still reads: IN GOD WE TRUST. In that case Atheists should reject dollars as well

every body who bears the title kenyan as a form of represenation should also be included in everything kenyan such as not being forced to sing to a tune favouring the rest of the population leaving the very single kenyan out of the picture

The creator of universe and all there in is Elohim, Yahweh is his personal name. God is an english translation with regards to the subject. Therefore Yahweh is so loving even to them that dont believe in Him. Anybody who says NO to Yahweh Elohim, his/her peneal gland is dead and requires Revival. The Kingdom of heaven is here!

God is all-inclusive. He has no problem with those who say He does not exist. He does not come out fighting them or killing them to prove a point. He is above that; He is just God! Oh! It is religions that fight for God - and He does not send them!!! If you find somebody fighting and killing for God, just tell Him he/she has no idea who God is and he is farther from Him than pluto is from the sun! God is NOT a religion or Religious; He IS God.
Which religion rules this country?
