I'm in favor of Kenya being a secular nation, a nation that represents Kenyans regardless of their religious affiliation ... I'm in favor of separation of church and state ... Let's enjoy the fruits of a scular nation where no one is discriminated for holding different views .

Correction: Athiesm isn't a religion, it is lack of belief in deities. There is no other definition on earth or under.

Step in the right direction. We agree that, that statement is useless, even judging by our leadership and hypocrisy as a nation. Patriotism , if there is any left in us, can stand on its own....

i hope this step will change the religious institutionalized state institutions, the military is one of the "religious" govt institution, whereby you either be Catholic, Muslim or Protestant unconditionally!!

Lets remove the word god in the National Anthem .... Kenya is not a religious state .....
I support the petition because it is in line with our Constitution. Kenya is a secular state and out National Anthem should reflect this. #SeparateChurch&State

We should not only remove the name of God but ban religion to nurture free thought. Religious education in all our schools should as well be replaced with Philosophy.
