A large problem that I and many others TF2 players have with the game is the inability to remove gifted by tags from items. Many traders have bought an unusual hat, full price, to later find that the hat is actually gifted. The gifted tag by itself can often times bring the price of a hat down at least 50%, meaning that the unlucky trader who just received the item just lost half of the items value. Another great example is if you finally find your dream hat from a trade, but seconds before you hit the trade button you notice the hat is gifted. This is horrible for the buyer and the seller, buyer because he/she don't get their dream hat, and the seller because he/she don't get to be finally rid of the toxic item. Plus Dota 2 has an option to remove the gifted by tag, why shouldn't TF2? It is a truly horrible feature that needs to be removed immediately.
