- We, the people of the Steam Community, feel that the disadvantages of Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) bans whilst an account was hijacked outweigh the advantages. A ban for events which happened outside of the rightful owner's control, without the opportunity to take steps against future occurrences, is counter-productive. We believe the following changes need to be made in order to improve VAC to be more useful.
- 1. Each hijacked account will receive one ban removal per 12 month period, with a maximum of 3 ban removals per account.
- 2. In order to become unbanned, the account owner must change their password, use the Steam Mobile Guard authenticator for 14 days, and reset account accessibility on other computers and devices.
Disclaimer: This is not in any way trying to justify or allow hackers to get away with what they do. Hacking is not moral, and should not be taken lightly. What this is doing, is trying to get a limited number of unbans for people to make necessary changes, and secure their accounts.

my account got stolen and some russian guy cheated on my csgo account and now i cant play on any servers valve support is completely useless and they dont even listen to proof
