General Appeal of the Lay Faithful to Bishop David Walkowiak regarding Covid-19 restrictions

Long overdue.

Is there any movement in the Denver Co Diocese?

Please base mass attendance policies on facts presented in scientific studies and not on federal and local government officials’ declarations.

Bad enough that masks/measures are profoundly idiotic. Worse that they are ineffective. Even worse, dehumanizing and totalitarian. Worse still, ironic, as we see priests take off masks during the mass, setting the filthy rags on the alter next to the consecrated host and chalice. Disgusting.

I think Catholics can decide for themselves what is safe and what is not. We need to resist government intrusion into the way we worship. If we don't stand up, perhaps one day we won't be able to worship at all.

Please let's do this - enough fear! The Lord has set us free for the freedom of the sons of God!

The only institution that can bring an end to the current outlandish attack on the human person, as presented in the natural law, is the Catholic Church and the faithful are on the front lines. We are united in baptism, which needs to be manifested in visible and unwavering unity with the Way, the Truth and the Life, Jesus Christ.

Our faith is bigger than our fear. Trust in the Lord always. We are losing so many of the faithful.

With all charity and respect, dear Bishop, we appeal for our shepherds to stand strong, shining the light of faith in a world that is becoming increasingly dark in this socially distant world

I have said from the beginning that our Church should be announcing that Jesus is more important than the Covid virus. Why were the saints sent to fight the black plaque and preacher to lepers but our priests must social distance and quarantine for 14 days if they were near someone potentially contagious?

This petition has made my day. I felt so alone here in our diocese! We have been forced to stop attending Mass in the church because we believe all of these things. Thank you!!

Shameful! Milton Ryan should not be allowed to call himself a priest. Resign Mr. Ryan!
