This is deja vu. I remember when Phil Dorn came to our HS. In less than two years he totally ruined our football program.
Seemed like a decent individual but I certainly would never put him on a field and call him Coach. Suggest you replace him ASAP!

Now that we have over 500 signatures, now what? We can’t have another football season with a head coach with no heart, no drive to win, no sense of leadership to lead this football program. We don’t need a coach to teach fundamentals, we need a coach who driven for perfection, has a heart to win and doesn’t settle for second best.

I have never seen a coach with no heart for the game and players. His best season record is 3-7 in 4 seasons total BS. All his offensive plays are so predictable and had to have the defense pull him out of all his crappy offensive calls.

I thought he was a good strength and conditioning coach but nothing else. I played and had colleges scouting me my freshman year and during practice a senior who didn’t like I was practicing with varsity hit me way after the whistle was blown and caused injuries to my neck forever to have neck and back pains along with health issues that are possible to happen in the future caused by the nerve damage that happened. All dorn did that day was blow his whistle and say that’s enough, and then talked to me like I was letting the team down by quitting making me feel like I was a bad person. I then stupidly stayed for a few more weeks causing more pain and had to leave. I didn’t plan on a career in sports but was told by hall of famers that trained me like William Roberts I had nfl potential in the future. I work offshore now and live a somewhat normal life but he can forever suck my dick and die.

I think that FWBHS needs to look outside the box when it comes to hiring coaches. FWBHS needs to look at all the talented and experienced female coaches. Regardless the sport. Success is a state of mind not a state of oppression...#21century

A true coach trusts and allows his coaching team to do their jobs. His demeaning behavior towards his staff and the players reveals his insecurities as a coach. From day one Dorn knew that he was inadequate to coach, yet selfishly took the position. An ethical and experienced coach takes responsibility for the team, instead Dorn blames the coaching staff and players for his own failures. No matter the sport, coaching takes a specific character in order for the team to succeed and Dorn does not have this moral fiber.

You have a good o boy system going on . The damn good coach that took y’all to state left because of him and Ryan not knowing what they were doing. That comes from having one coach playing major leagues and the other two GOF? Now those good ol boys do the football tighter and softball .. both should be fired.

I've seen more contact during peewee football practice than I have since coach Dorn started coaching. His inadequate so called coaching has turned FWBHS football team into a joke. You a need a man to coach a man's sport, not a politician.
