Coach Dorn is a great man, maybe not suited for coaching. Not personal...best for our high school.

He was handed and Incrediable opportunity to help shape and mold these young men. He has done nothing to encourage these boys. He should take lessons from Washington HS in Pensacola. Coach Whiddon has brought that team around from losing for years to a winning season. How has he done it? By encouraging and supporting his team. Coach Dorn needs to go. It’s to late for my grandson but no other boy needs to be put through 4 years of poor leadership under Dorn.

A lot of comments on here that I can only assume are students. While as a supporter and season ticket holder I get it. We see it at games, it’s just not about winning. It’s about the TEAM, the community, the sponsors, and the other coaches not being able to do their job as they are there for. As a head coach you have to accept the good, bad and ugly. You need to have confidence in your staff and all involved. No where on the petition does it say he’s a bad person and the way the entire community rallied around his family after the tragic accident should say a lot. He just isn’t what FWB needs in a coach.

TCCU, Trust In Me. What a joke. You get what you pay for. Not the first choice, he was hired at a time that was crucial to this program. His first group of seniors were on their 3rd coach in four years. He should have stepped in and made a difference when they needed him. He did nothing but destroy what little morale they had. His treatment of players and coaches is disgusting. His style of coaching does not work. Players do not respond to that. One of his coaching tactics was “Players won’t play both ways”. So he plays subpar players in a position, lets him get beat all night with no adjustments, unless you were his, you get the point. Trust In Me. Trust someone who berates coaches in front of the team? The audacity to label Choctaw “the other school down the road”. You gave Choctaw bulletin board material. Four minutes into this year’s game, it was OVER. Next!

To those defending him and blaming the kids for having no talent: 1) you obviously never watched a game 2) Bruner middle school. Coach Vinson has a massive win streak. Steps down, Mikel destroys it- no wins, same kids. Vinson comes back, SAME KIDS, and never loses a game. 3) want more? Booker T Washington. Look up their history and then see what happened when the Niceville coach took over this year. JUST STOP IT. The responsibility is Dorn’s.

I graduated from FWBHS and so did my children. We want what's best for our children and the future of our school.

It is because of Dorn my son quit football. He is not a good coach or leader.

4 straight losses to a just ok Choctaw team. One win against them could have saved him. Sorry but it time.

This should have happened a long time ago

A 42-6 loss to a lackluster Choctaw team is the final straw.
