What the hell White Wolf?

I am a coordinator for One World by Night, and I am asking that this offensive and unnecessary material be removed

Real life tragedy that is ongoing shouldn’t be sensationalized for entertainment purposes without the merit of it being educational.

Should have been local people talking about it. And no fridging towards lgbtq people or any. And side notes about what is real and what's not, or at least your political stand in this.

This version of White Wolf has made too many similar mistakes of representation and 'edgy' content. Removing this chapter would just be the first step towards being responsible creators.

This is an unacceptable addition, especially after the apology about the core rulebook. White Wolf, you need to get an outside editor and proofreader, and get multiple of them, people who have no stake in the company, so they can tell you straight up if something is bad.

This is more than bad judgment or taste - it is despicable, and I am stunned that no one caught what a spectacularly bad idea it was. Crass misery tourism plus making light of actual torture and genocide? I fear you can't even are the lines you crass any more.

I miss the White Wolf that found a way to respectfully handle the atrocities of the world in a way that showed you did not have to have become a creature of the night to be someone who should be considered a monster.

How many eyes read this content before it was released? Did anyone raise any objections? Did you listen to them?

Sadly, the real monsters of history are always human. The game has traditionally understood that, and it's a shame to break that tradition now.

As leader of the Offendicons, I support this petition. When will White Wolf learn that we'll never be satisfied?

Not a V5 hater, but definitely agree that this bit had no place in the book.

Utterly awful choice Vampire 5E. The real world increases in violence against queer people in that area of the world is no joke.

disgraceful, and really bad editing too

Taking real life attrocities and turning them into "just a distraction" plot points desensitizes and makes them acceptable. It is irresponsible and down right dispicable because you are perpetuating a mindset that minimizes and dehumanizes real people. There is no real story plot that hinges on this sort of thing. This is just tone def and harmful. Not something needed, or edg, or productive in anyway.

Please let fiction remain fiction. Don't make it real, and don't belittle suffering.
