I have many apps I would like to delete but as they came on the phone it is not possible.forcing you to waste space on app you don't ever use or want, not to mention pushed adverts.

please also tell Archos. surely if all downloaded apps could be moved to the SD card then this would help the problem

We are all individuals, and as such have different tastes and attitudes, so why should we be forced to accept some-one else's choices on our 'phones,

Unless manafacturers remove this c**p, then it is quite likely that ppl will move back toward google *clean* devices , or move to CMod...which is great!! I went CM with a Galaxy S3: battery life doubled & it was so fast/responsive... 'nuff said! :)

I have disabled over half of the apps on my phone that are preinstalled. Wasting my phone space.

Bloatware is influencing my phone upgrade. I am much more likely to purchase a phone with less features if it has less bloatware then a phone with more features and bloatware.

most 'bloatware' consists of apps that perform functions I don't want, access services I don't use, or activities in which I will never wish to participate. I want a my phone to make calls, send SMS texts, and occasionally access the WWW or act as a backup satnav. All of these - bar perhaps the simple phones call - can be achieved by better, simpler, and more convenient apps that the in-built ones. It's MY phone, for Heaven's sake; let ME decide how I want to use it!

At least a third of the apps on my phone are bloatware and never used. I would love to not have them or at least be able to remove them.

The word bloat says it all. When I get my next phone the amount of bloatware onboard will be a consideration in determining which phone I purchase.
