Think again WSCC. What are you waiting for - more reports of injured dogs or a child scarred for life through an accidental fall? This fence needs removal at once. It is both an eyesore and dangerous and if it is really necessary plenty of alternative safer fencing options are available.

Terrible poorly thought out fence. Definitely should not be allowed so close to coastline and a footpath.

It is extraordinary that any person can behave with such thoughtlessness in erecting such a barbaric style fence and a Council will endorse this by not doing everything in it's powers to protect the public, who they are meant to represent. A conker tree in a play ground makes headlines news in terms of it's health and safety aspect but this type of fencing, adjacent to a public footpath goes unchallenged.

You can't fence off a boundary like that, where people have always walked their dogs... It's dangerous and asking for a nasty accident... If it needs to be fenced , please have it fenced upright with stock fencing and NO barbed wire..... Thank you

Why do the selfish few have to spoil somewhere enjoyed and used by so many people who love the area .Because they obviously think they can do as they like . It looks like a WW11 defence SHAME on Chichester CC

Even making the barbed wire plain wire will make a huge difference. There is no need for barbed.

What next is the land owner going to erect? A caravan compound perhaps?

This fence is a severe danger to all animals and humans alike. If anyone was to slip or an animal was to run around as normal on a walk thyey could quite easily tear skin and cause other injuries quite badly.

This is so dangerous and so unnecessary. It needs to be removed before there is an accident.

This fence is both a menace to the public (and animals) and a dreadful eyesore.
