Please remove the barbed wire for the safety of animals in the area.

crude and unsightly. I can't imagine why any sensible person would imagine that this was the right thing to do. What problem are they trying to solve? They have alienated the neighbourhood for what?

Barbed wire is a lazy and outdated way of protecting property. Its ultimately designed to deliberately injure and is dangerous for animals, both wild and domesticated.

Please remove this dangerous fencing before there is a terrible accident.

this is an appalling area of fencing, dangerous to people, children and animals. It looks like something put up in The Great Escape and is hardly a pleasant addition to this otherwise scenic walk.

This is awful and dangerous for both my dog and my grandson.

I entirely agree that the barbed wire in this area is offensive and unnecessary. This is a beautiful stretch of coastline and not a WWII trench.

Shocked to find on a recent walk in this area this ugly and unnecessary barbed wire fencing has been erected.
I wholeheartedly support this petition to remove horrendous fencing in this beautiful area.
Besides being unsightly, in my mind it is extremely unnecessary and dangerous.

I walk regularly around here and the fence is dangerous. With the recent high winds I was almost blown onto the barbed wire, had I landed on it I would have suffered severe injury. For the many dog walkers along the path it is a hazard for them as well. Alongside the SSSI blends into the countryside very well, this wire makes it look as if you are passing a prison area. It is not in keeping with the area.
If there has to be a fence, then like the property alongside, it should run along the bottom of the slope, thus making it less intrusive.

I walk this route regularly with my dog. It is an unnecessary, dangerous eyesore and should never have been erected

A lovely walk for families, with children and dogs that has been made exceptionally dangerous by this barbed wire. Once the grass grows over it will become hidden and lethal!!!
Please remove the barbed wire for the safety of animals in the area.

Please remove unnecessary & dangerous barbed wire.
Please remove this dangerous & unsightly barbed wire. This is a lovely coastal walk that is spoilt by this unnecessary fencing.
Not only is the barbed wire dangerous, especially to dogs, but it is an "eye sore" to a beautiful coastal walk
Terribly dangerous fence that I, and many other dog walkers pass daily, simply do not understand how this could have been allowed.
