Looks like a dads army second world war defence. Land owners, including farmers should adhere to the rules.

I have walked along this route and was surprised to see the barbed wire it is dangerous to children and dogs and rather ruins the beauty of the area. Perhaps the farmer could come up with something less ugly and sharp to keep his animals contained.

This fence is a danger to people and especially dogs and deosn't appear to be within the spirit or the letter of the law. What is the thinking behind a fence such as this? Surely this can be replaced with stock fencing as per everywhere else. Please change the fence to something more suitable.

Please remove this very badly constructed, and dangerous barrier, which appears to serve little purpose. It does also seem to contravene the Highways act of 1980, section 164

Surely if fencing required, stock fencing would be a safer option? Also less dangerous and not quite so ugly!

Please remove the barbed wire. It's unsightly and spoils an area of natural beauty.

Not sure why it was erected in the first place. It has spoilt such a popular walk with both locals and tourists.
This is ugly, dangerous and unnecessary
Such a lovely walk ruined by barbed wire!
