This barbed wire fence is evil and dangerously placed. I have grandchildren and dogs and I am horrified to see this fence.. Can it not be replaced with stock wire?

i thought the fence was being removed. The fence is firstly potentially lethal for dogs running through it, children or old people stumbling on it. Secondly it is an eyesore. it cannot remain.

The angle of the fence means that if you fall into it you can't steady yourself. You will only get tangled in it and cut yourself. It is particularly dangerous for children or small animals. The fence is completely barbed. Unnecessary as it is not containing livestock. Please remove it or replace it with an open non injury causing barrier

This fence is not only visually offensive in this exceptionally beautiful location, more seriously it poses a significant danger to small children and to dogs. I find the supine response of WSCC incredible.

Anyone can trip and impale on it. Too late to remove it AFTER someone has lost an eye. I want it changed.

A real danger to walkers, children and animals esp in summer when the grass hides the bottom row of wire

Completely agree that the barbed wire fencing along the stretch in question is dangerous and should be removed. When the grass and vegetation grows in summer the bottom row of barbed wire is completely hidden and a real hazard for children and animals.

We use this route regularly and I now have to keep an eye on my young son as if we were walking by a busy road for fear he will stumble into the barbed wire. Why is it even necessary? There is another fence at the bottom of the slope. It's ugly and there seems no need for this along our beautiful coastline.

A real hazard to dogs! It should be removed and replaced with non-barbed fencing.
