Removal of taxi rank and illegal traders

the taxi rank and market is a safety risk for pedestrians aswell as for vehicles as the taxis just pulls into the lane or brake without looking for oncoming traffic

Please no. We have enough vagrants trying to climb the boundary wall there on the daily. We don’t need this here.

This creates crime and decreases our property value

Resident of Sunningdale. I live about a block away from the rank and illegal traders. The crime rate has increased and the cleanliness of our area has decreased as the taxi rank and illegal traders have increased. This is both a health and safety issue. They need to be removed.

This is already a nightmare with illegal traders on the pavements, squatters making a mess and taxis pushing into traffic and jumping red robots. Major property devaluation for the residents living behind Sandown road.

We have vested interest in this area and community, this taxi rank is well know to bring the wrong element into the area, encouraging illicit trading vendors and a dilapidation in general , as a parent of 2 young children, they can now NOT enjoy the freedom we envisaged years ago buying into this area as a result of fear and concern for their safety, knowing that crime has increased and unfortunately the deplorable element has stepped in, relocation is the only alternative.I encourage the COCT to address our concerns and look forward to an favourable outcome

Safety risk

The crime is getting out of hand. They dont listen and the litter is disgusting. Sometimes theres screaming n fights at night. The drugs and dealers dont stop! We are fighting daily to end this peacefully but its exhausting and time consuming with all best efforts made!
