It's become impossible to even drive safely on the road as there are tons of people crossing this very busy road.

In favour of the taxi rank to be moved to a designated taxi rank where it will be legal and accessible for the commuters. At the moment it is chaos and this leads to many problems.

It is dangerous for school kids and workers walking down Sandown road to the my city bus stop. They also attract rats that then go into the nearby houses.

The illegal and disgusting taxi rank/filth/mess on Sandown road must be removed urgently. It is totally unacceptable that our neighbourhood is left with this dirty eyesore, but we must pay high rates and taxes . Time that COCT start earning the funds that they collecting by addressing this problem with the urgency it deserves .

It is incredibly unsettling to have tall of these informal settlements and pop up stalls open just on the other side of our residential walls, and so close to wider residential areas. Please stop this

The vagrants are taking over our neighbourhood and community. We pay high rates to live here and yet they seem to have more rights than us. We no longer feel safe.

We are deeply concerned about the increasing problems caused by illegal trading and the presence of unmanaged homeless encampments in our community. These activities have resulted in:
• Obstruction of pavements and public spaces.
• Increased noise, litter, and health hazards.
• Safety concerns for families, children, and the elderly.
• Negative effects on local businesses and property values.
We call on the City of Cape Town and law enforcement authorities to:
1. Enforce municipal by-laws against illegal traders operating without proper permits.
2. Take appropriate action to prevent public spaces from being occupied in ways that create safety and health risks.
3. Increase visible policing and patrols in affected areas.
