I truly hope this gets the attention of Mayor Lightfoot so that appropriate action is taken. Not a good look for a district on the verge of a Strike!

She needs to go. Being a minority I go to school to feel welcomed and feel at home, she is taking away that opportunity from the students that go there.

The discrimination in this school is unbelievable. I haven’t transferred because my child insist on being there. There’s a score to get to be in the “gifted class “, my child’s has got to the score but never got in the class. She complains to me that she has same map score with some of the kids in that class. The “gifted class “ is filled with only white kids who are given more educational incentives. Same happens to getting in the volleyball club or school band. My child is straight A student but didn’t get in either of them. She told me the other girls who got in the volleyball team couldn’t even serve (white kid). I can go on and on...

She is the definition of a nightmare! Last school year a preschool parent parked in her “parking space” and to get revenge on her and teach everyone a lesson, she abruptly stopped the parents from walking their preschool children into the school. We were forced to watch our 3 and 4 year olds go into the school crying and struggling to get their own breakfast and attempt to get situated by themselves. Good bye and good riddance Dr. Hag! It’s been a long time coming!

I heard bad things about the principal from a complete stranger while sitting at Millennium Park. Her son is attending in 1at grade and she explained how horrible the principal is, and parents want her gone. If my child was attending this school, I would want her gone too! This isn’t the military. Children have feelings, and how can they excel in school when it’s being run by a person who is doing it like a dictatorship from a third world country?!

My children attended Disney when she was an assistant principle and we saw the same behavior back then. Couldn't believe she was ever promoted to principal.

I have been a CPS teacher under an abusive principal. No teacher, staff member, student, parent, or community member should feel harassed or bullied by the leader of a school.

My son was a victim of her insensitivity as a preschooler and a kindergartener. I witnessed when she would not allow a bus of African American students with school staff enter the building to support their team during a basketball game. She almost ran me down when I was walking to the building for a social work mtg. It's about time.

Is it true that the social worker is pulling kids out of classes to question them about the petition? Is THIS principal behind this?
Also hear that CPS Board has cancelled the LSC meeting this Monday.

To those who are saying that she doesn't need the money, she does a lot for the school, etc......well, that is her job. She gets paid very well for it, too. It is not part of the job, however, to degrade, bully, intimidate and retaliate against her faculty and staff, simply because she can. You cannot say no to this woman and "get away with it" because the wrath of her will come. If YOU have not been put in that situation with her and you work at Disney, you are the exception, truly. She certainly has managed Disney to great financial disposition, but she also is blessed with a school that has the means (parking lot, CAC rental, etc.) to bring in extra money and have Disney be a grade above most other schools. Whoever she might be replaced with will be able to do the same. Evidently, simply being polite and humble and professional is beyond her and, to some extent and by association, a couple of the assistant principals, sans the male AP. For those of you dissecting words, she can be professional, but again, that is part of the job. But she crosses the lines of unprofessionalism at best and is an intimidator, bully and, although I havent seen it personally, a racist at worst. People should enjoy coming to work, not have a fear of running into her or have fear of being put in the spot of having to "deal" with her. She's like the overbearing mother to us all and it would be great to put someone in charge that has the staff's and children's performance be at its best and change the suffocating culture we have been in.
