I pulled my child out of Disney, I do NOT recommend this institution! He's been a better student since leaving!

My grandson use to go that school and my self never like such principal.

I am a former teacher at Disney and I loved the students and staff so I stayed for 8 years, but she made it very difficult to be happy at work. On a regular basis I was reprimanded for the clothes I wore, and berated in front of students and other teachers if my students weren’t silent in the hall or classroom. I felt intimidated by her and had bad dreams about her about twice a week.
Every year we thought would be the year she would retire or LSC would finally stand up to her. It seems like that will never happen so hopefully this method works and voices are finally heard

I support teachers, parents, and students of color. Schools should be safe, happy learning environments. Dress code, appearance, and skin color should not determine how people are treated. What is listed in this letter despicable and unacceptable. Principals should not be calling cops to resolve issues for 5-13 years olds. CPS AND THE LSC NEEDS TO REMOVE PRINCIPALS LIKE THIS!!

I’ve been in a similar situation at my former CPS school so I believe this. Haven’t you all filed a grievance through the union? There’s plenty that goes against article 44 of the contract.

No reason children, parents and TEACHERS have to work in that environment! This abuse should not be allowed!
