I won't color the comments by including my affiliation or anything further than needed, but the fact remains that Mr. Tamburrino has poorly represented himself, his peers, and The Citadel as a whole on multiple occasions, as to which many can attest. This is not a case of a singular incident. His deragatory language and vulgar behavior are simply unacceptable and inexcusable, much of which is in print, mind you.
As cadets we always held ourselves accountable and to a higher standard, so we should do the same here today. When a member of the long grey line misrepresented himself, lied, or brought shame upon us, he was readily dismissed. There was no excuse for a lapse in judgment... we all abided by the same rules and code of conduct; we never tolerated those who did not. Mr. Tamburrino has freely chosen to misrepresent our Citadel alumni that worked so hard to serve as good citizens, beyond graduation, and he should now be willing to deal with the consequences. It's time for him to be removed as our representative and replace him with an alumnus who truly leads by example and serves our collective best interests for the sake of our beloved institution. We will be stronger for it.
