Seeing this much energy behind the petition right now is honestly dizzying because I was worried nobody else felt the frustration with these mechanics. It feels like we are finally hitting a rhythm where people are actually listening to our complaints about the armor system and I am just trying to figure out the best way to get this in front of the devs before they dig their heels in even more.

Awful, adds way to much rng to the game. Arena and base game. Plates are fine, but hit boxes should be reverted. So it wouldn't be "as realistic". But who cares.
This change was not thought out and produces a terrible experience for players. It's inconsistent and adds a needlessly complex system to the game that has no spot in an "esports" game. It turns fights from aim skill to coinflipping hitting weird tiny hitboxes.
Do not add this to arena, and remove it from the main game. It adds an element of RNG to the game that is absolutely not needed. It's more random whether someone wins a fight, which in a "competitive" game is not a good element what so ever. "Realistic" yes, but fun? NO!
The new hitboxes are very random. You can't participate in shootings normally, because you can get a random bullet in your neck or armpit.
The new hitboxes are not good for the quality of Arena, it works good for the base game, but certainly not for arenas fast paced combat

Less RNG, more fun ! :) We don't need more "realism" in the Arena part of the game. We need things that FPS players can understand, not only Original Tarkov players.
