I was just checking the count and noticed we are inching toward two hundred fifty signatures which honestly feels surreal because it started as just a thought in my head. If you could send the link to a few people today we might actually hit that goal before the day is out and honestly it would be huge to have that kind of momentum behind us right now.

This is alarming and the children of Elma, Marilla, and Wales deserve FAR better. No matter what your opinion is on the legitimacy of the recent presidential election, we should all agree that political beliefs have no place in a situation like this.
Our children have not had in person education 5 days a week since March 2020. THIS 5 minute disquisition is completely out of line for a BOARD member. ESPECIALLY when you have not figured out how to successfully bring the children back 5 days a week. Ms. Hovey please resign. If you care at all for Iroquois step down now.
How about we tear up about the quality of education our students are currently receiving, the students’ mental health struggles due to shutdowns, and inability to play sports?! What are you doing to address that as an elected board member-the position you volunteered for to what seems as to discuss your political views?!
This is completely unprofessional and we do not elect board members to use the platform for political beliefs. Time could be better used focusing on children/districts needs.
We need kids back in school full time. That should be the focus. Not a political agenda. Regardless of anyone's political position, the events of Jan 6 were sad for our nation but the school board meeting should not be a stage to voice the personal agenda of a board member .

I don’t need my School Board Officials lecturing me on how to vote or bring political issues to our School Board. I’m offended the board let her speak on the topic of our ex-President for so long. Doesn’t matter what your political views are, you are there for the children. Children of Democratic or Republican parents.
