They've made some very poor decisions not even related to the revoking invitation to a man who, by his own account, harasses women.

I think someone should start a petition to officially recognize the use of embarrassment as the official collective noun for a gathering or group of Social Justice Bullies. Sorry pandas, nothing personal.

Let's be blunt here: Jada and Luis refused to sign up for your lynch mob, which you formed in the name of politics. Which is a damned admirable thing to do, and speaks rather highly of both them, and thteir willingness to defend ConCarolinas from the likes of you and your efforts to kill it. So now you're having a temper tantrum. Not only am I *not* signing your petition, I'm going to be rather blunt here. You are the very thing you pretend to be fighting. And your inevitable failure to have your way is a victory for civilization itself.

How irrelevant do you feel, you can barely rustle up 120 signatures to oust the Con Com director and head of security, while the petition supporting the Con Com director and head of security is at almost 2,500 signatures

Regardless of what justifications you are trying to sugarcoat this with, everyone knows what this is really about, revenge. So you can change the header 10 ways from Sunday, but we still all know. One of the ways we know what this is really about is that one of the very first people to sign this petition was Jaym Gates. That is no coicidence. The most legitimate complaint you have is that it was held at a smaller hotel than normal, that doesn't seem like a legitimate reason to fire the ConCom. Of course standing up to lying bullies and thugs isn't a legit reason to fire someone either. You are being decimated by the counter petition, by the way. People don't appreciate grown-ups that act like spoiled and entitled petty tyrants.

Jada and Luis should not be fired. They should be given a standing ovation at next year's con for standing up to the fascist sjw pricks!

I cannot attend another ConCarolinas under the current leadership. Politics are not the issue. It is laughable "freedom of speech" has been brought up when the ConCom's reaction to concerns was to disable comments on the convention Facebook page. If nothing else, the face the ConCom was down to three members, convention attendance is way down, the caliber of guests is down, and the event is now in a much too small hotel shows mismanagement. With a change in leadership, I would happily come back.

Don’t try to make this anything other than what it is, the cries of a small group who got caught making stuff up, or at the very least sharing made up crap about an author. You lose, justice prevails!

When you're in charge of ANY event/organization that involves over 1500 people, you're going to make decisions that don't make everyone happen. That's simple statistics. Perhaps you would be taken more seriously if (a) you stopped with the name-calling; (b) stopped lying about what these authors have actually said and done (hint: none of them have done what has been falsely claimed against them) and finally; (c) grow a pair and quit hiding behind anonymous and fake names.

I had never gone to ConCarolinas, but this makes me guaranteed never want to go. Pandering to the rabid right has basically got to stop and it is time that those authors who promote this garbage be put on notice.
