The sc should be forced to divulge whose orders he or she is following. Very soon every police station in the land will have the same attitude, private vigilante style security clusters are going to be the way to go

Not only at the times of rioters as I didn't even see them during the protest.
I actually don't believe in this Hout Bay police station and from the captain of the police station there's a need for a change in Hout Bay police station as in many occasions I've experienced lake of ability to this police station to serve this small community and yet I've many of the Hout Bay community complemented this police station and I'm still wondering what have the Hout Bay community seen in this police station while we've been calling for justice but only we experienced was this police station took the side of the victimizers and yet we've been reported those cases but found no help from anyone. We happened to be the victims of the community members and denied an access to the justice by the case investigator with the captain of the police station.
RESHUFFLING IS URGENTLY REQUIRED.

The residents of Hout Bay were held to ransom by protesters without the presence of police support to uphold law and order.

The entire staff of Hout Bay police station are useless & must be replaced. They did nothing to stop the recent riots, in fact they refused to help innocent women & children who were under attack.

When urgent assistance is required and the station commander is clearly not up to the job, it is time for a competent, committed individual to join the team

Incompetence of the highest order, gross inefficiency and total lack of willingness to protect the community she is meant to serve. Was her deployment here a political move?? I suspect so. Redeploy this captured commander elsewhere, ASAP.

I Agree. Expecting the community to put what happened completely aside and carry on with normality is totally absurd, everyone is upset and angry and really unhappy, Nobody has the right to hold an entire town hostage and be allowed to get away with it. And the Police did absolutely nothing, the police allowed the protest to go until it became criminally violent. According to sources -only 4 protesters were arrested out of "how many' people that had caused so much destruction in their path.
