Sad that our public protection is of no use to us, only to leave the public in harms way, with no action or support. What is the use of having the police, if they are not doing what we pay them to do?

Disappointing response from someone who is supposed to be protecting the community no matter who they are. They are supposed to be impartial and keep their private feeling and views to themselves in a work situation.

We were held hostage in our home while 40 + violent and destructive rioters took hold of our neighbourhood. No law enforcement came to assist! We were left to deal with it in our own. We eventually had to evacuate our home...we want answers!!! Why were we not helped?

The Hout Bay Police Station Commander should be removed from office and be replaced by an Officer who is prepared to do his or her job which is paid for by taxpayers. It is unacceptable and incompetent to refuse to take action against criminal activity.

The station commander Col Nebhisi at Hout Bay police station is totally inefficient and must be removed forthwith.
Her comments when we were desperate for police assistance when under siege in Penzance were disparaging and blatantly disrespectful of our rights as taxpayers and citizens of this country.
She needs to go immediately and be replaced by a competent officially who has the intelligence and know-how to run a police station.

Absolutely appalled at the lack protection to Penzance Estate community when the rioters came up Payne Street on Monday 03 July 17, smashing car windows, windscreens & damaging property and terrorising the neighbourhood as they went! The commander has lost the auppprt and respect of the community.
Her handling of the recent protest action both pre and post had been absolute abject.
