Removal of Dragonwings from Required Coursework

I do not want this in our schools

This is despicable! Why would anyone consider this appropriate Literature?

Please remove this book from our schools!

It is beyond my comprehension that any book that demonizes American would even be considered for use in our schools! Let alone a required reading. As a veteran of the U.S. Army I am deeply offended and feel that it is a slap in the face of every person that has served this "Great Nation."

Any books against Americans and white people should never be a required reading! Also, it's sad when you have children reading books that are promoting abuse to women!!!

I highly disapprove of this kind of demonic,racist required reading for Any child or adult. It comes against everything that we as a Godly moral family in America stands for.

As a teacher of 21 years I strongly oppose this book!

This is a treasonous book. It promotes everything we as family role models try to teach against.

This book is inappropriate for required reading. It definitely should not be read at the 6th grade level!

This is not education!

As an educator for over 40 years, I am strongly opposed to this book as expected reading for our children.

Remove that book! My grandchildren do NOT need to read that trash. Many better books out for kids to read. That book is racist…..

Please ban this book from REQUIRED reading

It is completely shocking to say the least of what is expected of our children to read . We send our children to school, a place where teachers mold the minds of young ones, not pollute them with such reading.

This content is inappropriate for our children. If parents want to teach their children this type of curriculum then allow them to purchase this book and teach it to their children in their own home. Please remove this from the public school system.

We are outraged that kids have to read this, as parents we read some of the book and we found this content to be inappropriate and it glorifies demonic behavior.

Get rid of that book.

Required reading like this just one of the many reasons maryville city schools won't see a dime of money for my 3 kids
