My name is Viennetta Brown, my friend, Katherine Clavel and I think that September 11th should be a national holiday. Or some sort of remembrance, to those we lost in the day of the 2001 US attack. We all know that September 11, 2001 was a tragic day in all of our lives. Some more tragic to then others. Lives were lost. Though I myself, have not lost anyone close to me...many others have. And because of that, I believe that September 11, no matter how sad, should be celebrated. If you have a family member, friend, or you just think it\'s right, please sign this petition now. Thank you.

The stories shared in the comments section serve as a powerful reminder of why this recognition is necessary. I have been researching the administrative steps required to formally suggest this designation to our representatives.

The momentum behind this proposal indicates that a collective desire for formal remembrance remains strong. This growing support reinforces the importance of honoring those affected by the events of that day.

YES. make it a holiday so people actually take the time to remember instead of just acting like it was any other tuesday.

Never forget. It should definitely be a day off to honor everyone who gave everything.
