If Costco goes in on Kanner it will be a traffic nightmare. The road was made wider to accommodate the existing traffic 2 years ago. Please do not let Costco build here.

This complex should be west of I-95.

In my opinion this is wrong for Stuart. Housing, Costco..too much. We residents will never be able to drive on Kanner again without too much traffic. When Costco went into Boca on Congress and Clint Moore, Boca made sure that it had the least impact on its residents and the traffic pattern. That's why Boca looks as good as it does...zoning. Stuart has gone crazy in their search for tax revenue. Its not just about the money. Plan responsibly!

This is our peaceful piece of paradise. This projected project would increase our noise level tremendously with trucks and a traffic survey of 4,100 MORE cars a DAY. A later estimate of 8- 10,000 more cars a day. I will not vote for one commissioner we now have on board. When money comes before humans their priorities are waaaay off base.

This is the wrong location for Costco. The traffic will be terrible for this area. You shouldn’t put apartments there either. It doesn’t belong so close to the high school.

I have nothing against Costco, but it is so OBVIOUS that this is a big mistake for our city. Why don't they take up the Port St Lucie offer; a location in the fastest growing city in Florida?

Costco doesn't belong in an already crowded Kanner Highway

Will draw from all the communities North and West of Stuart. More congestion, wear and tear on roadways.

My husband and I chose Martin County because of the stringent restrictions on development. The goal of Commissioners 10-20 years ago was to protect Martin County from the exact thing that the current Commissioners are planning to do.

I'm a costco member and this location is insane for traffic reasons alone. US 1, South Kanner near 95, or out near the turnpike are proper site considerations. This commission is turning Stuart into West Palm and no it does not raise tax base it raises infrastructure costs that taxpayers not developers have to shoulder.

I wrote about this on my neighborhood web site weeks ago. Want a Costco but NOT at that site especially with 398 apts - one or two cars per apt - could be up to 800 more cars in that busy area. Have our commissioners gone bunkers - or God knows what - a kickback??? I don't trust them - especially Doug Smith

Costco needs to be located on us1. The growth in Martin county is now out of control and the traffic is a mess. The beauty of our Martin county environment has suffered greatly and it's time to get the growth under control.
