Oh no!!!That cross also stands to honor the lives lost there like my friend and schoolmate Kim Skaro who died right there and her mom Jackie was the nurse there along with Marie Zdedlick!!!!

If the 2 ladies can have this removed they should be ashamed. If they don't like this maybe they should work at the dollar store instead.

This is my first Christmas to call Leadville home and it was a true blessing to see this symbol lit the last couple of weeks. Sad and disappointed to hear that a historical landmark can be wiped out by fear.
