Residents of Thelma Community and other South Bexar County Communities are in dire need of reliable, affordable internet service. Fiberoptic lines have been in the area for some time now, but access to residents has been denied while businesses are given access. Our residents need good internet service for student's online learning and for work opportunities.
Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight finally lifting off our community. It proves that neighbors here are tired of being overlooked for basic connectivity while businesses get all the benefits.

We want AT&T, SPECTRUM Internet in our area. It would be nice to not get ripped off with outrageous prices on Internet with Viasat and Hughes net. No more satellite services too.

Our families need internet. I’m a pediatric nurse and go to college and need internet while at home. I am currently using the hot spot on my phone which is not very dependable. I have two kids in college that are doing the same, using their hot spot.

We were told more than 20 years ago that fiber optics was coming out here. Been needing it for years. Try to do school work with crappy satellite service. NOT FUN AT ALL!!!! N

I have been denied employment due to a lack of reliable fiberoptic service in my home. Please make the fiberoptic lines available for residents of Thelma, Texas. (Pleasanton Road 78221 and 78264)

I have paid hundreds of dollars a month for terrible service for more than 8 years. We need good internet for sure!
