Most people are aware that due to the Pandemic surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak, schools have turned to Elearning to keep students engage and completing school work. Unfortunately for some areas around Berkeley County, this has caused a ton of stress and frustration due to the internet they have available to them, or lack there of. I am starting this petition in hopes of helping the families who live on or around the Mendel Rivers Road area, as they, desperately need Home Telephone to consider providing service to their area. If you live on Mendel Rivers or any area around there, please sign this petition and share for others to see. The more signatures we get, the more serious they will take us. It is really difficult to keep our children on track, and keeping up with school work; when the internet options we have are limited on data and don’t allow them enough time to get their work done.
