Dogs should be genetically tested and behaviour tested within a set short period of time and then released or pts not sitting waiting for months or years effectively on death row for no reason

DEFRA needs to remind themselves about animal welfare, and how DEFRA themselves are causing welfare problems for animals.

understand its a strange time and courts not sitting but to be lock in kennels cause way you look is not fair. And then class low priority so you sit longer. Shameful

This law is ridiculous, these poor dogs are locked up and suffering from stress and missing their homes...they should be released...stop the suffering and get rid of this out dated law....it’s barbaric and totally unacceptable To treat dogs like this.

Surely it makes sense to let the dogs go home to not only relieve the stress they and their families are going through but cut down costs keeping them locked up. Innocent until proven guilty for humans but not animals? Seriously? Outdated and cruel laws

BSL is unjust, cruel legislation that rips families apart and does nothing to protect the public. The emphasis should be on education and not on persecuting innocent dogs on how they look, which is nothing short of ridiculous and racist.

DEFRA, you must act now, this should not be allowed to continue and causes far more harm than good. I hear only negative comments about your organisation, it’s time for you to do the right thing and allow these dogs home.
