You can not punish children for not wanting to see a parent!! They may have very good reason for not wanting to be with him!! Since the father has the power to get his children out of juvy and he hasn't acted to do I would say his kids are right on!! He sounds like an abusive parent!
As far as the judge, she should be reviewed by whatever body governs her! This is a disgusting ABUSE OF POWER!!

This judge should be removed. She has no legal ground on which to send the children to a detention facility. She sounds as if she has "issues" of some kind with which she has not dealt. In short, she herself is in need of counseling or therapy.

What the actual..... Unacceptable. Really nice that their dad got then thrown in juvie for not liking him and then went off to Israel and left them to rot in there. Asshole.

this is insane. children shouldn't be put in juvenile detention unless they committed a crime. the problem here is the parents - not the kids.

This is unjust, sickening and over reaches the duties of family court. The judge is a mentally deficient idiot or she is corrupt. Either way the kids must be released from unlawful captivity, no child should be legally forced to eat lunch or visit with an abuser and most abusive parents never face charges for their crimes.

Children have the right to choose to visit/see a parent. The Judge overstepped boundaries by punishing the children. Experiencing divorce is difficult enough for children...the Judge punishing them is a crime! Please release the Tsimhoni children so they can begin to heal from this horrible and traumatic experience. Shame on Judge Lisa Gorcyca!!!

My hope is that despite the damage already done thanks to this horrific judge and a sad parental situation, these children will see that there's a whole community of good people who support and care for them.

These poor kids--my mom refused to leave my abusive dad when I was little because she was worried about what he'd do if he got any custody and she wasn't around to protect us. If this man was the good dad he claims to be, he would never have let this happen to his kids. Not to mention that detaining these minors is illegal because they are not parties in the divorce. I hope these kids are released immediately and the judge disbarred. Despicable.

This judge should be removed from her position. Never should you put children in a juvenile detention facility for such a reason. She sounds arrogant and drunk on power. Children are too often powerless as this case shows and should be protected from any overreach/abuse, whether from parents, other adults or other supposed "authority" figures such as this judge. She should not have such power to wield so clumsily over others.

No crime was committed by these children. Yet, look where she sent them. Transcript show judge got caught up in power struggle with a teenager. The teenager is plenty old enough to seek out or avoid contact with his father- the other poor kids were caught in the crossfire. Away from home and each other- judge is hoping to "break" them. Is that kind of judge that should handle these cases? One wanting to break children even more, just so they'll submit to her commands?!? Let them out today & sadly they'll never trust or respect authority figures again. What sorts of things are they being exposed to in there? She's broken them all right- broke their future.
