As a former Minot High School student, I am absolutely ashamed of the way administration is handling this situation. These kids deserve suspension at most. Jail time over water balloons? Absolutely ridiculous.

Oh for the love of what ever you believe in because if I say the wrong one Id probably get a call on me for that. This is one of the dumbest things I've heard from magic city campus. And I had to listen to the principles give speeches when I went there.

Seriously, your making our school look like idiots. I'm sure the kids have had enough punishment for what they have gone through recently with the charges. Now have them dropped and let the police go after TRUE THUGS!

This is ridiculous. With all the things going in minot including drugs, robbery, murders, etc. you waste precious time and energy over a senior prank. This has gone to far.

Have people lost their sense of what truly constitutes an offense that goes beyond the traditional scope of discipline at school? The school should be punished for using the police for this just like a prank caller to 911 would be.

Drop the damn charges. It's just water balloons! If they get charged then everyone should be charged for their senior prank because I have seen worse.. DROP THE CHARGES. NORTH DAKOTA, SROP MAKING THE STATE AND SYSTEM LOOK LIKE A DAMN JOKE

Good luck!! An alternative way to handle instances like this needs to be found. There is far worse things these kids could have done for a prank, what is this teaching our kids??!!
