Let the kids finish their last week of school! They r acting like the prank was way worse then it was. It was just water balloons. I have seen way worse pranks then this and they have only got a slap on the wrist then telling kids they will give them a bag of popcorn if they will turn on a class mate is ridiculous. That is just a way to get students to turn on one another and cause more problems. Let it go and let the seniors finish school!

There's a difference between a dangerous event and a harmless senior prank. Pretty sure generations before us did way worse and their futures were never ruined because of it!

I've seen worse happen at that school growing up. Throwing water balloons and being punished with a disorderly conduct and a record at 18 and not being able to walk at graduation is completely over board! If nothing was ruined by a ballon with water in them then maybe a proper punishment would've been in school suspension till the end of the year! This should've been handled by the school and not by Minot PD even if they were 18. This wasn't violent so I don't understand why the police were brought in exactly. Don't ruin opportunities for those kids so early in life because trust me a disorderly on your record can and will disqualify someone for jobs down the road and they don't care why sometimes! Way to go a Minot!

A better punishment would of been cleaning the lunchroom for a week. No need for court because of water balloons.

This is beyond ridiculous... No law against having water balloons or throwing them... get over yourself... why don't ya focus on serious stuff instead of petty things that are freaking harmless...they are being treated like criminals... REALLY!! That's how this failed system works!! I'd lawyer up and go after them... No crime was committed..

The punishment does not fit the crime in this instance!
