Dear Governor:
In recognition of the problem of prison overcrowding and the fees paid by the state of Nebraska to the federal government due to this problem, we, the undersigned, respectfully request that you release all nonviolent prisoners with serious health problems. We would all appreciate you for following through on this compassionate policy and for setting an example for governors nationally.
Thank you.
The Governor keeps hiding behind bureaucratic excuses while people rot in cells with untreated illnesses. This surge in support proves the public is done watching the state waste tax dollars to keep sick individuals locked away for no reason.

Prison is way too crowded costing us all a fortune in taxes. Let these sick people go home to their families where they can get real care.

Humanity matters. Keeping someone dying in a cell for a non violent crime is just wrong and a waste of money.
