Dear ASUS/Broadcom,
Release Zenfone 5's private code of GPS and FM Radio, So that we can enjoy stable GPS-FM Radio enabled Custom ROMs. If you're not going to provide updates, let the dev. community do it. We don't want your updates now, just release the code. We need the private code of GPS and FM Radio of ASUS and Broadcom to make these functions work on custom ROMs.
I love my Zenfone 5, but it's been an absolute disappointment to see
other devices get stable custom ROMs and watching my device still
running on stock. This device has potential even after 2 years and I
think it'll run for another two for me if you release the code.
Specifically, We need the x86 private source code of BCM2076 chipset.

Please ASUS. Stuck on KK since your stock LP suck, but custom MM is working ALMOST flawlessly, and it is up to you for it to reach perfection. I'm your fan for so long. Don't fail on us now.
Agreed. Please Broadcom, we are not going to set up are own company using your codes, we just need them to fix GPS and FM in custom ROMs
i sign this petition because i have some troubles with custom roms on my phone, like a CyanogenMOD. if u release private code, we, owners of ASUS Zenfone 5, we will be grateful for this.
Please open all the codes.. Remember Android is Linux and Linux means Freedom (FOSS) Free and OpenSource Softwares are the spirit of linux.. If you can share it why not?
Zenfone5 has been my device for allmost 1 and a half year. It could be another 1 or 2 years if Broadcom OR Asus provide the source code of the GPS/FM chipset for x86 devices.

It is better for all parties to get involved in this. ASUS gets to free up manpower and resources to create updates and possibly create a base for hardcore users of their phone. Users get to explore more about a system they have learned to love.
